Belisarius (Ship) logbook, 1801-1802.

The logbook of the ship Belisarius details a shipping voyage from Salem, Mass., to Sumatra and Mauritius, Aug. 1801-July 1802. The ship's home port was Salem; the owner was the firm of George Crowninshield & Sons; the master was Samuel Skerry. The logbook includes inventories of the cargo and notes the discharge of some of the merchant mariners on board.
